Congress has fielded Kanhaiya Kumar, a student leader of Jawaharlal Nehru University, in the power struggle in Delhi. Kanhaiya will contest against two-time BJP MP Manoj Tiwari from the North-East Delhi Lok Sabha seat. For the first time, there will be a contest between two Purvanchalis on this Purvanchal dominated seat. Due to the respective specialties of both the candidates, there will be interest in this seat among the entire country and the youth.
Actually, both the leaders have a lot of influence among the youth. A fight of ideology will also be seen on this seat. Kanhaiya is a leader of leftist ideology from Purvanchal. At the same time, Manoj Tiwari, who studied from Banaras Hindu University, is with the ideology of BJP and is a two-time MP. In the last election, he had defeated former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Till now, this seat was the subject of attraction due to Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of late Sushma Swaraj, becoming the BJP candidate from New Delhi. Now an interesting contest will be seen on the North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat also.
